Modern features, quality, and superior design make the built-in Bosch cooktop the centrepiece in every kitchen. The cooking surface utilises induction heating, which is characterised by high energy efficiency, speed and safe operation. It generates heat only where it is needed, at the bottom of the pot. Water boils faster, less energy is used and it's much harder to burn yourself in a moment of inattention. More savings are gained from the Power Boost feature, which shortens boiling time by another 50%.

Intuitive controls for comfortable cooking

The plate has four cooking zones, and you can choose from seventeen degrees of performance. Everything is operated via the DirectSelect touch control panel, where you simply select the hotplate and set the desired level of performance. This panel will also control all functions of the display where you can view the current energy consumption. TopControl digital indicator integrated into the glass-ceramic cooktop surface continuously informs you about the power level setting corresponding to the cooking zone and the eventual residual heat.

Other interesting features include a timer for each cooking zone, pan size recognition, QuickStar, restart, or the possibility of setting the maximum wattage of a the plate. There is also a child lock and auto shutdown.
