BOSCH PVS631HC1E Serie 6 hob
Modern features, quality construction, and a top-tier design make the Bosch built-in hob a practical helper in any kitchen. The hob uses induction heating, which is energy efficient, fast, and safe to operate. It generates heat only where it's needed—on the bottom of the pan. Thanks to the lower temperature, you won't burn your hands. What's more, an induction hob brings two litres of water to the boil twice as fast as a ceramic hob, saving you a significant amount of energy. The PowerBoost function guarantees further savings, cutting down the time to reach boiling point by up to 35% compared to the highest power level.
Touch control
Select your desired cooking zone and power level on the touch panel.
CombiZone
Combine two induction cooking zones to make space for large cookware.
PerfectFry Plus

Smart Hood Automatic

Everything with a single touch
With the DirectSelect+ function, you can set everything with a single touch. The control panel makes it easy to select the cooking zone and its desired intensity.
CombiZone
On the BOSCH PVS631HC1E Serie 6 hob, you can also cook in an oversized pot or roasting pan. The CombiZone function lets you combine two circular cooking zones into one. This gives you more space and greater flexibility for heating large cookware.
PerfectFry Plus
With PerfectFry Plus, you don't have to worry about your food burning. The PerfectFry Plus sensor displays and continuously monitors the pan's temperature to prevent burning. You can also choose from 11 preset temperatures ranging from 70 to 220°C. You'll always achieve perfect results.
Smart Hood Automatic
You can easily connect the BOSCH PVS631HC1E Serie 6 hob to the Home Connect app, where you might already have a compatible extractor hood. These two smart elements can then communicate with each other—the hood adjusts its power according to the hob's performance. This lets you enjoy cooking with fresh air all around. No more manual adjustments are needed.
Favourite button
Save your favourite hob settings under the Favourite button. For example, for hard-boiled eggs with a precise cooking time of 5 minutes and 45 seconds. With the Favourite button, you can save your perfect combination of settings, like a power level and timer. Or you can add light control for a corresponding extractor hood. Simply connect the hob to your Home Connect account and start your day more easily.
PowerBoost for rapid cooking
The practical PowerBoost function guarantees exceptionally fast water heating. Use it, for example, to bring a large amount of water to the boil. Compared to the highest power level, it speeds up heating by almost 35%.
BOSCH PVS631HC1E Serie 6 hob with Pause function
Pause the heating and lock all the hob's buttons if you need to step away from your cooking. Press the Pause button and you can simply resume cooking – within 10 minutes at the latest.
QuickStart function
The QuickStart function detects where you have placed your cookware on the hob and automatically displays the cooking zone on the Bosch PVS631HC1E control panel. This lets you start cooking straight away without any unnecessary delays.
ReStart function
After switching off the hob, the last setting is stored in the memory for a short time. If you switch the Bosch PVS631HC1E hob on again shortly afterwards, the original settings are still available. What's more, the hob switches itself off if your food boils over or something spills onto the surface.
Timer with switch-off function
The assigned cooking zone automatically switches off after the set time has elapsed. Simply leave the tedious jobs to your hob.
Maximum safety
A practical child lock ensures the safety of you and your children, preventing your little one from switching the hob on.
Induction cooking – faster and more economical
The advantage of induction hobs is that they only produce heat where it is needed. This makes using induction hobs safer – you won't burn your hands. The Bosch PVS631HC1E induction hob is also more energy-efficient. For example, it brings two litres of water to the boil twice as fast as a ceramic hob.

What is the difference between flexi, combi zone, and round inductors?
Round zones have a fixed size. A combi zone bridges two separate zones into one larger area. A flexi zone, on the other hand, adapts to the shape and size of the cookware anywhere on the surface.
Can I connect the hob to 400V?
Yes, most induction hobs can be connected to 400V (two phases), which is actually recommended for reaching full power.
Why can't I connect a hob with a power input of 4.6 kW to two phases?
A 4.6 kW power input is designed to run on a single, stronger phase. Splitting the load across two phases usually requires a higher total power rating, around 7 kW.
On your website, you state Voltage 220-240 V, can the hob be connected to a multi-phase connection?
Yes, the 220-240V figure refers to the voltage per phase. The hob can typically be connected to two phases (400V) as well.
Which hobs are designed for flush installation?
These are frameless models with polished edges, listed in the range as suitable for flush-mount installation.
The hob is noisy, it clicks loudly.
The clicking comes from switching relays or the power management function. It's a normal operating characteristic of induction technology, not a fault.
Is it possible to turn off the sound signals on the hob?
Yes, on Bosch and Siemens models this can be done in the "Basic Settings" menu (C2). Confirmation tones can be muted, but warning signals stay active regardless.
What is the smallest diameter of cookware that will work on an induction hob?
The minimum diameter depends on the size of the zone, and typically falls somewhere between 9 and 12 cm.
