Maxtra+ technology cleans your drinking water from the water supply and reduces the occurrence of limescale. It breaks down chlorine, lead, copper, aluminium and other harmful substances. The light sensor, located in the lid of the pitcher, will prompt you to replace the filter so your water is always optimal quality. It is intended for larger households. No longer will you need to purchase packaged water. With this Brita filter, you will save money, space and the environment.

The filter status is highlighted by the light.
- Green means full filter efficiency. The LED turns on and off 3 times.
- Yellow warns that it will soon be necessary to replace the filter. Filtration is still effective. The LED flashes 3 times.
- Red warns that the filter must be replaced. The LED flashes 6 times.
- Once the filter is replaced, reset the alarm. Hold the Brita Smart Light button for about 5 seconds. The green LED will turn on and off 3 times.
