Canon EOS 6D Mark II. je vynikající digitální zrcadlovka s velkým čipem formátu full-frame a tím pádem také s vynikající kvalitou fotografií i v případě nutnosti použití vysoké citlivosti ISO, která vyhoví i profesionálním požadavkům. Kompletní konektivita nejen Wi-Fi, Bluetooth a NFC ale i vestavěná GPS. 45 křížových ostřících bodů, nebo pětiosá stabilizace videa. Za zmínku pak stojí i skvělá ergonomie, provedení odolné proti vlhkosti a prachu, nebo výklopný dotykový LCD. Přístroj je doslova našlapaný funkcemi, včetně například časosběrného snímání a skvělá je i opravdu velká výdrž baterie na jedno nabití, a to i při chodu GPS. Bezkonkurenční nabídka příslušenství systému Canon EOS. V tomto setu se skvělým základním objektivem se stabilizací a nejnovějším AF.
Nevýhodou je ne zcela ideální rozmístění AF bodů příliš blízko středu bez pokrytí okrajů. Fotoaparát také nemá 4K video a chybí i druhý slot na paměťovou kartu, či vestavěný blesk.
