POS printers operating on the principle of thermal sublimation excel in inexpensive printing of text-based data. They are everywhere in, for example, at checkout counters in department stores. The Citizen CT-S310II Black is a POS Printer that uses thermal technology to produce great results every time. It utilises special thermal paper that darkens when it's heated by the thermal print head. This printer technology unfortunately loses legibility and fades over time, but the extremely low price per printed page balances it out. The CITIZEN POS Printer has a maximum resolution of 203 DPI.
