The Supermarine Spitfire bomber had a Rolls-Royce Merlin 63, 1650hp engine. It was armed with 4× 7.7 mm Browning machine guns and 2× 20mm Hispano MK-II canons. The wingspan of the original aircraft was 11 metres. It was is 9.5m long, 4m high and weighed 2.5 tonnes. It could reach speeds of up to 658 km/h.
