What Did the Real HEINKEL Do?

The medium-sized HEINKEL bomber was originally used for postal services. It had 1100hp DAIMLER-BENZ DB 601A-1 engines and could carry a crew of five. The wingspan of the aircraft was 22 meters, it was 16m long and 3m high. The HEINKEL weighed 7 tonnes and could carry a further 2 tonnes of ammunition. It could fly 2400 kilometres without stopping and reach heights of up to 8000m.
