The Crumpler Base Layer Lens Case L is a great choice for safely storing larger lenses for carrying and travelling! The high-quality neoprene and Chicken Tex Supreme nylon creates a robust outer protection while the soft Nylex lining is as soft as a blanket. The sophisticated design offers a stylish look and many practical features including a removable shoulder strap, a belt loop and an aluminium carabiner. You can store essential items such as a lens cap, filter, or a memory card in the main or handy bottom compartment.
Give your lens good protection for long durability
- Perfect protection for larger lenses (55 - 250 mm)
- The outer layer consists of Neoprene and Chicken Tex Supreme nylon
- Water and dust repellent finish
- Removable shoulder strap, belt loop
- Aluminum carabiner for attaching additional accessories or attaching the case to a backpack or other item
- Zippers with a safety lip to protect the lens from scratches
- Practical bottom space for other accessories
- Removable bumper pad for extra side or bottom padding

Crumpler employs 8 independent quality control officers who closely supervise the entire production process. Their work is to guarantee the perfect execution of each individual product. The quality of the cases is controlled at all stages of production. Each product goes through a series of production steps and, after each, an independent sewer checks the quality of the previous manufacturing step before starting work on their part of the production process. Each case is re-checked before it is packaged.
Chicken Tex Supreme™
Chicken Tex Supreme™ is a highly durable fabric that Crumpler has made to order. It is one of the main materials of the case. The use of very heavy fibre and high-density weaving adds incredible durability and quality to this fabric. In addition, Chicken Tex Supreme™ has undergone many tests to make sure that the combination of yarn weight and weave density produces the best results.
