The DGS-1100 Series supports Auto Surveillance VLAN (ASV) for real-time video streaming without compromising the transmission of standard network data.  The Auto Voice VLAN is best suited for VoIP. It automatically assigns a voice call a higher priority VLAN so the switch guarantees the reliability and security of VoIP traffic. You can use the settings to reserve the bandwidth for each important port that requires preference.

Secure Operation

The switch features advanced security features such as Static MAC, Storm Control and IGMP Snooping. Static MAC allows users to create access-specific MAC lists for specific ports, helping administrators restrict network access to authorised devices only. Storm Control monitors the broadcast and, in the event of packets that may flood the network, will block and drop them. IGMP Snooping is able to reduce the load on L3 routers and protect bandwidth and network throughput.
