The D-Link DIR-809 router works as two individual wireless routers in one. The 2.4GHz wireless band features speeds up to 300Mb/sec, while the 5GHz band offers a staggering speed of up to 433Mb/sec. Both bands are operated simultaneously. For the slower band, we recommend connecting devices such as a printer or an older PC. Game consoles and modern mobile phones should be hooked up to the 5GHz band, which they can use to the fullest.
