Wireless connection and fast pairing
This device features an integrated Wi-Fi module that supports 802.11b/g/n/a/ac/ax standards, enabling wireless communication with cameras in bands from 2400MHz to 5850MHz. The automatic pairing function simplifies the connection of wireless cameras without needing complex network configuration. Two external antennas help maintain a stable connection even over longer distances, while the device processes an incoming data stream of up to 80Mb/s.
Efficient compression and decoding
The recorder supports modern encoding formats including Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264, and MJPEG. These technologies significantly reduce storage capacity requirements and network load while maintaining high image quality. The device can decode up to ten channels at 1080p resolution at 30fps or four channels at 5MP resolution at the same frame rate.
Analytic functions and false alarm filtering
The integrated SMD Plus system uses artificial intelligence algorithms to recognise people and motor vehicles. This function effectively filters out false alarms commonly caused by falling rain, moving leaves, or changes in surrounding light conditions. When connected with compatible cameras, the recorder also supports perimeter protection on all eight channels.
Storage management and backup
A single SATA bay for a hard drive with a maximum capacity of 20TB is used for storing recorded footage. The recorder offers various recording modes, including continuous recording, motion detection-based recording, or alarm-triggered recording. You can back up selected video segments via the USB interface to an external drive or remotely over the network.
Remote access and mobile management
Users can control and monitor the system from anywhere using the mobile app for iOS and Android operating systems. The recorder sends notifications about events, such as motion detection, video signal loss, or a blocked camera view, directly to your mobile phone or email. Management is made easy by the local graphical user interface and web access through standard browsers.
Physical interface and connectivity
The device features one RJ-45 Ethernet port with a speed of 10/100Mb/s for a stable wired connection to a router. For connecting monitors or TVs, HDMI and VGA video outputs are available, supporting resolutions of up to 3840×2160. Two rear USB 2.0 ports are used for connecting a control mouse or backup media.
