The Dell PowerEdge T160 server offers a compact tower solution designed for small and medium businesses (SMB) or Near-Edge infrastructure deployments. Its space-saving chassis makes it suitable for placement in offices, warehouses or retail stores without requiring a dedicated server room. The steel sidewall design uses a special filter frame that effectively protects the internal components from dust and grease. This ensures optimal airflow and long-term hardware reliability even in harsh environments.

The computing power is based on the Intel Xeon E-2434 quad-core processor with a base frequency of 3,400 MHz, which reaches a clock speed of up to 5,000 MHz in Turbo mode. The processor supports simultaneous multithreading and virtualization and is complemented by 16 GB of 5,600 MHz DDR5 memory. A 2TB hard disk drive (HDD) with a capacity of 7,200 rpm is available for data. /min and SATA III interface. The server has a total of three 3.5" bays, two of which remain free for future storage capacity increases.

The system uses Dell OpenManage tools to automate and simplify IT infrastructure management. Security is provided by the Cyber Resilient Architecture, which includes a hardware root of trust and protection across the entire device lifecycle. Connectivity for peripherals is provided by four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and three USB 2.0 ports, complemented by a VGA D-SUB graphics output. Network connection is provided by RJ-45 interface. The assembly, which is supplied without the operating system, is powered by a 300 W power supply.
