A DSLR, or digital SLR, is a digital camera that combines a digital image sensor with the optics and mechanisms of a traditional SLR camera.

Digital SLRs offer superior image quality and greater control over settings. As a result, they are suitable for experienced and enthusiastic photographers. Digital SLRs also give you the option of using different lenses.

Most of today's digital SLR cameras are able to take video recordings, some even in Full HD.
