The Eaton UPS 3P Ellipse 1300 USB FR backup power supply with off-line topology delivers an apparent power of 1300VA and a real power of 840W to supply sensitive electronics. This Eaton backup power supply achieves a high 97% efficiency and offers a backup time of up to 1 minute at 100% load. It uses eight type E sockets for connection, four of which provide full backup and four provide only surge protection. A separate USB port for charging external devices is also included. The Eaton UPS Companion software handles management and consumption monitoring via the USB interface. Low noise levels and compact dimensions make it easy to place in both office and home environments. This off-line backup power supply also supports a cold start.

Battery and protection features
Power is supplied by two maintenance-free lead-acid batteries with 2× 12V / 7Ah parameters, which are easily user-replaceable. Deep discharge protection extends the life of the batteries. The cold start function starts the power supply directly from the battery even without mains power. It also includes surge protection and an automatic shutdown function.
Management and software
A USB port with HID standard support is used for communication with the computer, which simplifies integration with common operating systems. With the Eaton UPS Companion software, you can configure the UPS settings and monitor the energy consumption of connected devices. The software also ensures an automatic and safe shutdown of the computer during a prolonged power outage.
Connectivity and sockets
A C14 input connector is used to connect to the mains. The output power is distributed between eight type E sockets. Four sockets provide full backup for critical devices, while the other four only protect against surges and are suitable for peripherals. The power supply also includes a separate USB port for charging mobile phones or tablets.
