The switch allows you to easily expand your local gigabit network. You'll appreciate the ease of use and simple installation without the need for lengthy configuration - just connect a computer, server or game console with a cable, and you're done.

Due to its high speed, the switch boasts great flexibility and throughput. The time spent transferring large files will be much shorter, and there is also support for Jumbo Frame 9K, a feature that greatly improves network usage while transferring large volumes of data. The ES-5800G v3 recognizes the speed at which the connected devices operate and adapts to their speed. This switch model also supports dual power supply - you can either use the power adapter, or the supplied USB cable. The obvious advantage of using a USB cable for power is that you do not need an electrical outlet and you only need a free USB port on your computer.

Edimax appliances are very economical because they use an advanced economy mode that saves up to 70% of energy. Additionally, if the connected device is turned off or inactive, the switch automatically reduces power consumption. It also recognizes the length of connected cables and uses that information to control power consumption, as shorter cables require less power.
