The Edimax Gemini RE11 includes two extenders designed to increase the reach and the transfer rate your wireless Wi-Fi network without replacing the existing router. The principle is simple, the device connects to your existing Wi-Fi network and enhances its availability even in remote locations. You can set everything up easily and without the need for a complicated installation.

Greater Reach and Speed
Connect the Edimax extender to a 2.4GHz router and it can create a 5GHz 11ac standard with a transmission speed of 867Mbps. As this band has more availability, there are almost no outages and network slow down.
Simple Installation
With iQ Setup, the entire process of setting up the device is as simple as possible. The program detects the available Wi-Fi networks in the neighbourhood and helps you establish connections within seconds. LEDs indicate signal strength to help you find the best place for the extender to get the best coverage.

Saving Mode
Use the switch to select between normal and economy mode. If you have a smaller radius of coverage, switching to "green" mode reduces the signal range and saves up to 75% energy.
Simple Administration
The device is equipped with a WPS button which can be simultaneously pressed with the one on your router for an instant, secure connection. Alternatively, you can enter your network data in the user-friendly administrative environment that is accessible from your Internet browser.
