The Edimax Gemini RE11S Extender extends the reach of your wireless Wi-Fi network and also increases the transfer rate without replacing the existing router. The principle is simple, the device connects to your existing Wi-Fi network and boosts its signal, even in remote locations. You can easily set up everything without a complicated installation.
Greater Reach and Speed
When the Edimax extender is connected to the 2.4GHz router, it can create a signal of 5GHz 11ac standard with a transmission speed of 867Mbps. As this band does not have much traffic, there are almost no outages and slowing down.
Simple Installation
With iQ Setup, the entire process of setting up the device is as simple as possible. The program detects the available Wi-Fi networks in the neighbourhood and helps you establish connections within seconds. LEDs indicate signal strength and help you to find the best placement of the extender for the best coverage.
Economy Mode
Use the switch to select between normal and economy mode. If you have a smaller radius of coverage, switching to the "green" mode reduces the signal range to save up to 75% of energy.
Clear Administration
For an immediate, secure connection, the device is equipped with a WPS button, which can be simultaneously pressed on your router. Entering your network data is done in a user-friendly administrative environment that is available from an Internet browser.
