The induction hob has an intuitive DirectAccess touch control and a pot detection zone. The PowerBoost feature saves not only energy but also time. With the Electrolux EHL6540FOK, you can boil water up to 50% faster than with normal cooking appliances. You will surely appreciate the possibility to combine of two cooking zones into one larger zone, which is great for larger or special pots or pans. The safety features include a child lock, a time indicator, an add-on timer, an Eco Timer (for use of residual heat), or a unlock/unlock control panel.

Modern technology

The hob uses several features to improve cooking and energy-saving operations. The timer integrated into the hob can be switched on at any time (even during cooking) to accurately determine the time when the cooking zone should be turned off or when the cooking time should be extended. The CleverHeat feature is a 3-step control function for residual heat that can be used for further heating. The Stop and Go function is designed to quickly stop and re-start the cooking zone. The EcoTimer feature switches off the cooking zone before the set time is reached to optimally use the residual heat of the zone. The safety of the device is ensured by the Automatic Shutdown when the feature automatically shuts down the induction hob board whenever there is a long period of inactivity or the board is left unattended for a long period of time. In addition to this, the audio signal alerts you to shut down the board after cooking has finished.

Easy cleaning

With one touch of a button, you can easily pause food preparation - all active cooking zones are switched to the lowest temperature. And pressing the button again activates the heating operation. 

 

Residual heat indicator

Thanks to the three-stage heat indicator, you can see how much is still hot when you turn off the cooking zone, so you can use all the residual heat, such as maintaining the temperature of the food or for melting of food substances.
