With its solid 2800 W performance, the iron can instantly heat up. Its 55 g/min steam output allows you to quickly and easily iron even thick and very wrinkled fabrics. When you still keep finding unsightly wrinkles and creases on your curtains or clothes, you can simply switch on the Steam Boost feature that gives a steam output of up to 250 g/min. It will also come in handy for vertical steaming, which will smooth out, remove all creases and freshen them up. The iron also features a spray function. The iron is great for ironing large amounts of garments, since you don't need to constantly refill the water in the 370 ml water container. For maximum ease-of-use, the Electrolux Renew 800 E8SI1-8EG E includes a 3 m long power cord.

One huge advantage of this model is its anti-calc system, which enables you to use standard tap water rather than distilled water. The Anti-Drip system protects your garments when ironing silk and other delicate fabrics at reduced temperatures, since most irons are liable to leak water on ironed clothes. The Electrolux Renew 800 E8SI1-8EG E also comes with an Auto Shut-Off feature that makes sure the soleplate doesn't heat when the iron is left idle for an extended period.
