New iCX cooling architecture
The EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC2 GAMING iCX graphics card is equipped with iCX technology, which provides 9 temperature sensors - one is for the GPU, three are located near the memory modules and the remaining five are in the power supply electronics. This subsequently leads to more efficient cooling and an increased performance and service life of the card, due to the two fans operating in asynchronous mode. The temperature of the GPU controls the speed of the left fan, while the right fan is subject to the evaluation of the other temperature sensors.
