Felt Brand

Felt was founded by Jim Mott who was originally a motocross mechanic. After designing and building a triathlon bike for the motocross star Johny O'Mar in 1980, who later won the California Times Championship, Jim shifted to cycling. In 1994 he founded Felt Bicycles, first under the patronage of Answers Products, and since 2000 he has expanded into Europe and has increased his portfolio of mountain bikes and BMXs as well. Felt develops his designs working closely with professionals and the bikes are tested and improved using wind tunnels.
