The third-generation FiiO X5 is a top-of-the-line music player that combines audiophile perks when playing digital music in the highest quality and with the versatility of the popular Android experience. Digital signal under scrutiny

Two sophisticated AKM AK4490EN converters take care of the signal - one for each channel. These converters are well-designed for the perfect processing of the 32-bit signal even in the high-end PCM and DSD format. Thanks to dual DAC reproduction, the sound of the studio recording attributes are without distortion. There are 2 oscillators for this, with each prepared for other sampling frequencies, improving timing accuracy, reducing jitter, and artefacts caused by virtual frequency change.

Delicate reinforcement

The excellent sound quality is achieved by working with a wide team of testers with sensitive hearing in order to make the sound output a delight for final users. The third generation of the X5 has two OPA1642 two-channel chips for low bandwidth filtering and a custom-made amplifier circuit OPA426 that exudes audio outputs with an outstanding power output (up to 300mW at 32 ohm headphones) so you can pump up your favourite music and get an unbelievable listening experience at the highest quality and volume.
