The Fiskars X17 Splitting Axe is the perfect axe for splitting medium and large logs. The new blade geometry facilitates pulling tight axe from the chopping block. The actual blade has two degrees of hardness - the body in a standard 48HRC, and the blade in 55HRC. Like other Fiskars axes, this model offers a perfect balance between the head and haft for safe, comfortable and efficient use. Moreover, the handle is made of FiberComp material, which makes the axe almost indestructible. The axe is supplied with a plastic case for easy portability.
