FOLIATEC dip foil is a revolutionary way to easily change the colour of the car with the possibility to return to the original paint at any time without damage. This sprayed foil in the shade also creates protection for the original paint against external influences.

Foliatec thinner for sprayed films

The newly developed FOLIATEC sprayed foils (dips) can easily change the look of your car in the blink of an eye.
One of the first dip manufacturers in the world to offer metallic shades already in the basic package without the need to apply a special metallic layer.
This paint is suitable for application using the FOLIATEC electric painting system or using a spray gun, provided that a 2.0 to 2.5 mm nozzle is used.

One package of Foliatec thinner is suitable for a 5l package of paint.

Pracovní postup:

- Remove all body parts that are not to be painted and can be easily removed.
- Cover parts of the car that cannot be dismantled and are not to be painted (for example with 3M masking tape or 3M masking foil).
- It is also suitable to cover wheels, wheel arches and chassis parts where there is a risk of dusting with paint.
- Thoroughly wash and dry the painted surface, including all edges and folds. Then degrease the body.
- Before painting with a duster, remove any dust that has settled on the surface during preparation.
- Using a FOLIATEC / WAGNER spray gun, apply 4 to 5 medium-thick coats of paint.
- On horizontal surfaces (bonnet, roof, etc. ) proceed slowly with the gun power set to level 1 or 2.
- On vertical surfaces, proceed at a medium fast pace with the power of the spray gun at level 2.
- Work in an enclosed space, reduce the performance of the ventilation system when working in the paint box.

When using other than the original FOLIATEC / WAGNER spray gun, apply the paint (dip) in 3 medium-thick layers .
Use a 2 to 2.5 mm nozzle and a working pressure of 3 to 5 bar .
After each coat, wait about 10 minutes before applying the next one.

The paint is dry enough after about 60 minutes to keep dust on its surface.
After approx. 24 hours, the vehicle is ready for operation.
