The Fractal Design Essence power supply unit has 500W of power and is perfect for use on multimedia or home computers. It can however also power mid-range gaming computers or workstations. It guarantees stable efficient power and maximum reliability even when running at a full load. Its overload protection ensures a long service life with an average life expectancy before failure of 100,000 hours. As you would expect, the quality cables are durable and flexible, which makes them easy to handle when installing in the cabinet.

The Fractal Design Essence uses a fan with speed control to remove heat
The main advantage of this power supply is a high efficiency of up to 85%. The heat dissipation and optimum device temperature are provided by a large 120mm fan with an automatic speed controller. The connectors include five SATA power connectors, four molex drive connectors, and one small floppy disk drive connector (FDD). The main power supply is a 20+4-pin connector.
