Emphasis on quiet operation
The North XL case is designed for users who want to build a quiet gaming PC. It offers plenty of space for E-ATX motherboards, larger graphics cards and the installation of a water-cooling radiator up to 413mm long. Three 140mm fans are fitted from the factory, which ensure airflow around key components at low speeds.
Control panel and cooling
The Fractal Design North XL case is fitted with 140mm Aspect 14 fans. They are all located at the front, drawing air into the case through a dust filter. Of course, it is possible to install additional fans, including water cooling. This keeps the components inside the Fractal Design PC case well cooled. In addition to the power button, the control panel includes connectors for headphones and a microphone. However, the USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB-C ports are much more important.
Dust filters and cabling
The Fractal Design North XL case is designed for easy installation of all components. This is aided, for example, by the absence of a classic drive cage at the front. Ideal operating conditions are helped by dust filters, which are easy to clean thanks to their magnetic attachment. All cabling can be easily organised. Inside the case, there are prepared cable routes and a whole range of grommets.
