The Fractal Design Ridge PC case with PCIe 4.0 serves as a compact foundation for building powerful Mini-ITX systems that don't require a large chassis. With a volume of 12.6L, this case was developed in collaboration with gaming enthusiasts to fit seamlessly into living rooms and onto desks. Despite its slim dimensions, it can accommodate graphics cards up to 335mm long, debunking the myth that small PCs have low performance. Users can install full-sized hardware into a chassis with a minimalist footprint and high versatility, without having to compromise on their choice of graphics accelerator. The design offers maximum accessibility and makes efficient use of every centimetre of internal space.

Design and modularity
The chassis combines a steel base with a fabric-covered front and an aluminium frame, giving the whole unit both strength and a distinctive look that sets it apart from standard cases. The modular concept lets you choose between vertical or horizontal orientation to suit your workspace or living room layout. All panels are easily removable, providing access to the interior from all sides and simplifying component installation in the compact space.
Heat dissipation system
The heat dissipation system uses perforations on all sides for natural airflow to hot components. The manufacturer has installed two 140mm Aspect PWM fans in the side positions, which direct fresh air straight onto the graphics card. The package also includes a PCIe 4.0 riser card, used to connect the graphics accelerator in a separate chamber, away from the direct heat of the processor.
Internal space and connectivity
The internal space accommodates SFX and SFX-L power supplies, while four 2.5-inch drive bays are provided for data storage. The front panel includes modern interfaces, featuring one USB Type-C port and two USB 3.0 connectors for fast data transfer. The CPU cooler height limit is 70mm, so a low-profile air cooler is a suitable choice.
