The low aperture numbers of this lens extend the possibilities of photographic expression when shooting in low light conditions and also create a beautiful bokeh effect. The image quality is further enhanced by Fujifilm’s proprietary HT-EBC coating applied to the lens' surface which reduces the appearance of glare over a wider range of wavelengths and reduces the occurrence of ghosting.
