Events on planet Kairos
Borderlands 4 PS5 is a frantic action ride that takes you to the unexplored planet of Kairos. Take on the role of one of four new Vault Hunters on the trail of a mythical vault full of riches. A world of chaos, explosions and weapons you never imagined awaits you.
Choose your Hunter
Each Vault Hunter has unique abilities that can be developed in deep skill trees. Combat is fast, fluid and full of tactical options, from sprinting and sliding to aerial attacks. Character customisation plays a key role, whether you prefer brute force or refined technology.
Alone and with friends
The evil ruler of the planet Kairos will have no mercy, and neither will you. Borderlands 4 PS5 features both singleplayer and explosive co-op for up to four players. Join forces with your friends to form a team that will turn Kairos upside down.
STORY
Protect not only your home
In Borderlands 4 PS5, you'll find yourself in the midst of chaos on the planet Kairos, where a carefully constructed order is crumbling. Timekeeper, a ruthless ruler obsessed with control and perfection, is losing his grip on power as a disaster looms on the horizon that could destroy the world. The planet is plunging into madness and you, as one of the new Vault Hunters, represent the last hope for salvation... or the complete destruction of the system. You'll embark on an adrenaline-fuelled adventure where your actions, your style and your equipment are the deciding factors.
GUNS
Design your own character
Expect action that doesn't mess with anything. Unleash your full potential in every fight with a wide range of deadly weapons and devastating action skills. Vault Hunters in Borderlands 4 PS5 aren't just soldiers, they're destruction machines. Brand new movement options such as double jumps, sliding, dodging and grappling bring unprecedented dynamism to the fight. Build your own character to suit your style, combine abilities, maximise effectiveness and prepare for an explosion of fun with every enemy you take down.
COOPERATION
Play alone or in a group
Whether you're playing alone or in a team of up to four players online, Borderlands 4 PS5 offers a perfectly balanced experience. The co-op mode is designed to keep you in the game while ensuring that every player has their way, regardless of character level. Collaboration brings more tactics, more action and more fun. Complete missions, crush bosses, collect loot or just explore the world, the Borderlands 4 PS5 experience is even more powerful when played as a pair or as a group.
