Hall Effect technology and adjustable triggers
The analogue sticks use Hall Effect modules with contactless magnetic sensors for smooth control, precision, and a longer lifespan. The four Advanced Gaming Buttons can be programmed at any time, even mid-game, without needing to adjust functions in the system menu. Tactical Trigger Locks let you set the trigger travel in two different positions. The shorter travel supports a rapid response in FPS games, while the longer travel is designed for a full trigger press in racing games, for example. Hall Effect triggers combine magnetic sensing with Impulse Triggers and built-in vibration motors.
Three connection modes and a fast response
The 3-Mode Switch lets you choose between 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and wired modes. You can use the controller with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11, cloud gaming, Android, and portable PCs. A low-latency USB adapter is included for the 2.4GHz wireless connection. When connected to a PC via cable, the controller achieves a 1000Hz polling rate. A 3.5mm stereo jack is provided for headset connection.
Battery, vibration, and comfortable control
The integrated 800mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery offers up to 30 hours of use on a single charge. Recharging is handled by the included 3-metre USB-C cable. Dual Rumble Motors and Impulse Triggers with integrated vibration motors provide haptic feedback, though Impulse Trigger compatibility depends on the specific game. The ergonomic design with textured grips and integrated anti-friction rings is intended for longer gaming sessions. The PowerA Gamer HQ app allows you to customise the controller's audio, triggers, vibration, dead zones, and other parameters.
