The Garmin Approach Z80 is a revolutionary laser golf rangefinder with built-in GPS and an accuracy of up to 20 cm at distances up to 320 m. It works like a classic laser rangefinder, however, after aiming the target in the field of view, you will not only see the laser-measured distance to the target, but also a detailed colour map of the fairway or green , which is supplemented by important distances on the field, such as obstacles, layupp, beginning and end of green or dogleg. The rangefinder is characterized by perfect accuracy, offers 6x zoom, image stabilization and thanks to the built-in GPS displays a map of the golf course in the field of view, which is loaded from a pre-played database of more than 41,000 golf courses, including more than 100 Czech courses. Distance to the finish and to the beginning of the green

Simply aim the Garmin Approach Z80 at the target whose distance you want to measure, and after aiming, the measured distance is displayed immediately, to the nearest 20 cm. In addition to the measured distance to the target, the rangefinder also informs you about the GPS distance to the beginning and end of the green, to water obstacles or bunkers.

Measures distance over obstacles

The Garmin Approach Z80 not only can measure the distance to the target or to the beginning or end of the green. Thanks to the PIN POINTER function, it shows the direction or distance to the destination even if there are trees, fog or any other obstacles in the way . The rangefinder is also equipped with the LASER RANGE ARC function, which displays a circle with a constant distance in the field of view. There is also the PLAYSLIKE DISTANCE function, which allows you to recalculate the distance when playing uphill or downhill with respect to the slope of the terrain.

The Garmin Approach Z80 is compact and lightweight

One of the main advantages of the rangefinder is also its compact dimensions and very low weight, which is only 226 grams. Thanks to the built-in GPS, the battery in the rangefinder needs to be recharged, but it can last up to 15 hours on a single charge . The rangefinder can be used without problems even in bad weather, it is resistant to water and weather conditions.
