Once you have inserted the batteries, the lantern is immediately ready to illuminate your paths or the campsite in the dark. The Lantern has an innovative Freetouch Technology that works with a gentle tap, you only need to touch the ring to turn the lantern on (or off),or touch and hold the ring to dim the light.  At maximum luminous flux, which is 80 lumens,the lantern will last up to 7 hours. But at the minimum of 5 lumens, it will serve you for 100 hours. The lantern is shock proof and rugged with IPX4 protection, so it continues to shining bright even under rainy conditions. On top of the lantern is an easy to use spring-loaded handle which makes it simple to hang within a tent or from a rope suspended in a nearby tree.
