Gigabyte Aorus bets on extreme overclocking
Gigabyte wants to appeal even the most demanding gamers. The special Aorus model is offering a record factory overclocking of the GTX 1080 chip. For this, however, you need sufficient cooling, which in this case is provided by the WindForce 3X technology. The cooler essentially consists of three layers. The top layer is composed of three 100 mm fans with ball bearings, of which the middle one is embedded and rotates in the opposite direction. Underneath the fans is a large aluminium passive cooler, with an additional six heat pipes for improved heat dissipation. The third layer is formed by a black metal backplate.
