Powerful power supply with a digital VRM solution
The motherboard's foundation is a Digital Twin VRM design with a 12+2+2 phase configuration, where 12 VCORE phases use a 6+6 parallel connection with 60A DrMOS components. This solution ensures a stable power supply even for high-performance multi-core processors during overclocking. A further 2 SOC phases with 60A DrMOS handle the integrated graphics and memory management. The 2 MISC phases provide reliable power for the PCIe lanes connected to the processor. It features a six-layer Mid-Loss PCB with a double copper layer, along with premium coils and capacitors. The power connectors use UD Solid Pin technology with solid pins for better conductivity and more efficient heat dissipation.
Advanced cooling for continuous operation
The comprehensive cooling solution includes massive VRM heatsinks with up to four times the cooling surface area, connected by a heat pipe and using 5W/mK thermal pads. This design can reduce temperatures by up to 7°C compared to the standard solution. Both M.2 slots are covered by M.2 Thermal Guard Ext. heatsinks with a screwless EZ-Latch Click system for quick installation. The Smart Fan 6 intelligent system enables detailed adjustment of cooling profiles, including control of AIO water coolers directly in the BIOS, ensuring an optimal balance between performance, temperatures and noise levels.
Memory features and AI optimisation
The board supports four DDR5 modules in a dual-channel configuration, with overclocking potential up to 8200MHz thanks to D5 Bionic Corsa technology, which uses advanced AI algorithms to optimise the memory controller. Support for AMD EXPO™ profiles ensures easy activation of performance settings for certified memory modules. X3D Turbo Mode unlocks the gaming performance of Ryzen™ 9000 processors, including non-X3D variants, with a single click. Thanks to special optimisation parameters, they achieve performance comparable to X3D models – with up to 18% higher frame rates and lower latency in some games.
