The Gigabyte company introduces the new, highly sophisticated, and most importantly cost-effective GIGABYTE 8 Series B85M-HD3 R4 motherboard. Owing to a rather small size, it falls into the micro ATX format category, forming solid foundations of a powerful and reliable computer for work or leisure. Being this powerful, it will perform just as well inside a pure gaming PC, if only because it has its own graphics card slot that supports the PCIe 3.0 standard.
The motherboard is equipped with a proven Intel B85 chipset, and thus supports the advanced 4th generation Intel processors, which are fitted into the LGA 1150 socket. Given its value for money, the chipset offers the vast majority of the functions that a regular or an advanced user might need. The motherboard also features four DDR3 memory slots operating at frequencies of up to 1600 MHz. For hard drives there are SATA III and SATA II connectors, whereas other accessories can be connected using high-speed USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. Sound is taken care of by an integrated sound card that uses professional Nippon Chemicon audio capacitors and brings impeccable resolution and the most realistic sound production.
The motherboard provides a technology that protects arguably one of the most important elements of your PC - the BIOS. UEFI DualBIOS means, that apart from a 'main BIOS', your motherboard also has a 'backup BIOS'. As a result, it is protected against failure caused by virus attacks, hardware malfunction, improper setup, or power failure during updates.
In manufacturing, the company puts an emphasis on computer protection, and therefore their motherboards boast a standard of quality of its components named Ultra Durable 4 Plus. Countless innovative technologies ensure longevity, efficient operation, quality cooling of components, and maximum protection. The following are taken into account: high air humidity, wet conditions, high temperatures, and electrostatic discharges.
Do you own an iPhone, an iPad, or an iPod Touch? This useful feature is tailor-made for Apple devices and enables to charge the quickly, regardless of whether the computer is on, off, or in standby mode.
