Introducing the GTX 1070
The NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics card benefits from the performance of the well-tuned Pascal GP104 chip. The hardware specifications of the chip slightly less impressive than those of the more powerful GTX 1080, but the GTX 1070 features 1920 CUDA cores and 120 texture units. It is an incredible achievement to house such powerful performance in an external box measuring 212 × 96 × 162mm with a weight of 2360g.
Connection Method and Ports
The GIGABYTE GeForce AORUS GTX 1070 External Box has several required ports. The graphical output ports include HDMI 2.0 and DVI-D in addition to 3x DisplayPort 1.4. There are also four USB 3.0 ports, one of which is dedicated to fast mobile charging. Connectivity to a PC is provided by the already mentioned 40Gb/sec Thunderbolt 3 interface. As a treat, RGB Fusion technology supports a wide range of visual effects.
