The GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card delivers economical Pascal architecture and performance comparable to the GTX 980 generation. Enjoy the full-featured gaming experience.
NVIDIA leaves no room for doubt about who has the leading position in graphics cards. Following the spectacular success of the high-end GeForce 1080 and 1070 series models, a dream card is coming to light for gamers, for whom playing at a resolution of up to 2,560 × 1,440p is more than enough. This is the main domain of the GeForce GTX 1060.
With the 16nm production technology and the new Pascal architecture, the manufacturer boasts not only noticeably higher performance but much more efficiency. Expected consumption is therefore only 120W, but its power is comparable with the GTX 980 which required up to 165W for its operation.
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 WINDFORCE 3GB offers power represented by 1 152 CUDA cores, 80 texturing and 48 rendering units. The used GP106 core of the Pascal series is running at a rate of 1,746MHz in Boost mode. The graphics chip has 3GB of GDDR5 memory with a 192GB/s data bandwidth.
The tuned Pascal chip from GIGABYTE is virtually boosted to its maximum. This is only possible because of the high-quality cooling. This is taken care of by a very large and densely ribbed cooler which is fanned by a pair of silent fans. This technology is called Windforce 2X and will definitely not let you down in any games with overclocking.
