The GIGABYTE AORUS Gaming 3 is built on the latest Intel X299 chipset, designed for the Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X processors. Among them is the extremely powerful Intel Core i9-7900X CPU with ten cores, though there are plans for an incredible 18-core chip as well. For DDR4 RAM modules, there is a total of 8 Quad Channel slots with a maximum frequency of 2400MHz or 4333MHz when overclocking.
