X3D Turbo Mode and gaming optimisation
The X3D Turbo Mode feature boosts the gaming performance of Ryzen™ 9000 processors by up to 18% with a single click. The technology optimises parameters so that even processors without 3D V-Cache can achieve similar performance to X3D variants, with higher frame rates and lower latency.
Memory support and AI overclocking
The board supports DDR5 memory in a dual-channel configuration with four DIMM slots and AMD EXPO technology. The D5 Bionic Corsa system uses artificial intelligence to optimise overclocking up to 8200 MT/s. The HyperTune BIOS analyses specific memory modules and applies individual settings for maximum stability. The six-layer PCB with Mid-Loss technology and a 2X Copper design minimises signal loss at high frequencies.
Power subsystem
The Digital Twin VRM design uses a parallel 8+8 phase configuration for a total of 16 VCORE phases with 80A SPS stages, 2 SOC phases for the integrated graphics, and 2 MISC Ppak phases for the PCIe lanes. The premium components, together with the six-layer PCB, ensure a stable power supply even during high overclocking. The UD Power Connector with solid metal pins improves conductivity and heat dissipation compared to the standard design.
Cooling system
The all-metal cooling system combines massive VRM heatsinks with a four-fold increased surface area, heat pipes, and 7W/mK thermal pads. The M.2 EZ-Flex with its patented flexible design reduces SSD temperature by up to 12°C. The M.2 Thermal Guard L with backplate provides six times more optimised heat dissipation, while the M.2 Thermal Guard Ext. covers three slots and reduces temperatures by up to 7°C. Smart Fan 6 lets you control six PWM fans and four water-cooling connectors with individual temperature curves.
Connectivity and storage
The board offers four M.2 slots (2× PCIe 5.0 ×4, 2× PCIe 4.0 ×4) and four SATA III ports with support for RAID 0, 1, 10, and 5. The main PCIe 5.0 x16 slot is a reinforced PCIe UD Slot with a stainless steel shield providing 1.7× higher shear resistance and 3.2× higher pull strength. Dual USB4 Type-C ports reach 40Gbps and support DP-Alt Mode. A 5GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 7 with a directional antenna ensure fast network connectivity. The DriverBIOS includes a pre-installed Wi-Fi driver.
User-friendliness and software
The EZ-Latch Plus system enables screwless installation of both PCIe cards and M.2 SSDs. M.2 EZ-Latch Click simplifies the installation of M.2 heatsinks, while the WIFI EZ-Plug integrates the antenna connectors into a single adapter. The UC BIOS brings an intuitive interface with multiple graphical themes, including a black-and-white mode, and Q-Flash Auto Scan for automatic update searches. The GIGABYTE Control Center unifies the management of all components, including RGB Fusion for lighting control.
