Stable power supply
The board uses a digital power system for a stable power supply to the AMD Ryzen processors. An 18+2+1 phase Duet Rail Power system cascade delivers precise and stable current even under high load. Two 8-pin ATX 12V connectors provide ample headroom to power multi-core processors. Massive passive heatsinks ensure effective cooling of the power components, dissipating heat and keeping operating temperatures within optimal limits. This solution promotes system stability during long-term use or overclocking.
Fast DDR5 memory and AMD EXPO
The four DDR5 memory slots accommodate a total capacity of up to 256GB, with each module holding up to 64GB. The board supports AMD EXPO and Intel XMP memory profiles, which simplify setting high frequencies and optimal timings. This enables the board to achieve memory module overclocking of up to 9000MHz. The Dual-Channel configuration doubles the data throughput between the memory and the processor, contributing to higher performance in applications and games that are sensitive to memory subsystem speed.
Expandability and storage
The main graphics card slot operates in PCIe 5.0 x16 mode and connects directly to the processor for low latency. For other expansion cards, it offers PCIe 4.0 x4 and PCIe 3.0 x2 slots. Storage is handled by four M.2 slots for fast NVMe SSDs, two of which support the PCIe 5.0 standard. These are complemented by four SATA III ports for connecting hard drives or SATA SSDs. The system supports RAID 0, 1 and 10 for SATA and RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 for NVMe devices.
Advanced connectivity and extras
The rear panel offers extensive connectivity, including two USB4 Type-C ports that also carry DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 video signals. Network communication is handled by a 5GbE LAN port and a Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 wireless module. This also integrates Bluetooth 5.4 technology. The 7.1 channel audio output is processed by the Realtek ALC1220 codec with an optical output. For easy assembly and diagnostics, the board includes Q-Flash Plus, Reset, Power and Clear CMOS buttons directly on the PCB.
