Power and stability
The power system uses a digital twin VRM design with a 14+2+2 phase configuration for a stable power supply to the processor. Each VCORE phase has a 60A load capacity and helps maintain low temperatures even under high CPU load. The manufacturer has opted for a six-layer PCB with twice the amount of copper for better signal integrity. Solid-pin power connectors prevent unwanted overheating of the connections.
Cooling
The passive VRM Thermal Armor Advanced heatsinks efficiently dissipate heat from the power phases using high-performance thermal pads. The cooling is also supplemented by a metal cover for the M.2 slots, which reduces drive temperatures by up to 7°C. The Smart Fan 6 system offers a total of six connectors for fans and water pumps. Users can regulate speeds based on temperature sensors directly in the BIOS interface.
Memory and performance
The board features four DIMM slots for dual-channel DDR5 RAM with a total capacity of up to 256GB. D5 Bionic Corsa technology uses artificial intelligence to optimise the signal and overclock the memory. The system supports AMD EXPO and Extreme Memory Profile for easy frequency boosting. Fast data transfers speed up work in demanding applications and games.
Connectivity
The rear panel includes two advanced USB4 Type-C ports with a throughput of up to 40Gb/s and support for DisplayPort 1.4 video output. Fast network connectivity is handled by a Realtek 2.5GbE LAN port along with a Wi-Fi 7 wireless module. The external antenna uses a high-gain directional design for stable wireless signal transmission. High-speed USB 3.2 and older USB 2.0 ports are also available.
Storage and PCIe interface
The motherboard offers one PCIe 5.0 ×16 slot with metal reinforcement for heavy graphics cards. For high-speed storage media, there are two M.2 slots, one supporting the PCIe 5.0 standard and the other PCIe 4.0. Users can create RAID arrays to enhance the security of their stored data. Classic hard drives can be connected using two SATA III ports.
Installation
The EZ-Latch Plus and EZ-Latch Click features enable the installation of M.2 SSDs and heatsinks without a screwdriver. The graphics card can be easily released from the PCIe slot by pressing a single button. The EZ-Debug zone contains LEDs for quick error detection during PC startup. The Q-Flash Plus function allows you to update the BIOS with only the power supply connected.
