Stable power delivery
The power system uses a digital Twin VRM design with 14 + 2 + 2 phases and 60A DrMOS stages. This configuration delivers a stable current directly to the processor, even under heavy loads. The manufacturer has opted for a six-layer PCB with a copper layer for better heat dissipation and optimal signal integrity. Solid pins in the power connectors reduce wear and tear from repeated cable plugging.
Advanced component cooling
The VRM Thermal Armor Advanced cooling system uses massive heatsinks with 5W/mK thermal pads. These components efficiently dissipate heat from the power phases and maintain low temperatures. Smart Fan 6 technology offers a total of six headers for fans and water pumps, with the option for precise curve adjustments in the BIOS. The fans stop completely under low loads and temperatures.
Operating memory
Four DIMM slots accommodate up to 256GB of DDR5 RAM in a dual-channel configuration. The board supports AMD EXPO and Extreme Memory Profile for easy overclocking. D5 Bionic Corsa technology uses artificial intelligence to optimise the signal, increasing the clock frequency to up to 8200MT/s. This lets users fully exploit the potential of modern memory modules.
Data storage and PCIe slots
The board features two slots for fast M.2 NVMe SSDs. The first operates on a PCIe 5.0 × 4 interface and the second uses PCIe 4.0 × 4. For traditional hard drives and SATA SSDs, there are two SATA III connectors with support for RAID 0 and RAID 1 disk arrays. You can install your graphics card in the main PCIe 5.0 × 16 slot, which is metal-reinforced for heavy cards.
Connectivity
The rear panel offers two high-speed USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort 1.4 video transfer support and speeds of up to 40Gb/s. Wireless connectivity is provided by an integrated Wi-Fi 7 module with an external antenna, supporting the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequency bands. For a wired network connection, there is a 2.5GbE LAN port with a Realtek RTL8125 controller. The board also includes Bluetooth version 5.4.
Installation and diagnostics
The EZ-Latch features simplify tool-free component installation. You can secure M.2 heatsinks and the SSDs themselves with a simple click, saving time during your build. The EZ Debug Zone contains LEDs for quick identification of problems during computer start-up. The Q-Flash Plus button is used to update the BIOS with only the power supply connected, without needing to install a processor or memory.
