Power delivery
A stable power supply to the processor is ensured by a digital power system with a 14+1+2 phase configuration. This power stage uses 60A DrMOS components, which effectively reduce operating temperatures under high load. The 2-pin auxiliary CPU power connector uses solid pins for better conductivity and reduced connector wear. This helps the board maintain a stable voltage even during prolonged CPU-intensive tasks with Intel Core Ultra processors.
Memory subsystem
The board supports dual-channel DDR5 memory with frequencies up to 9466MHz when overclocked. Users can install modules with a total capacity of up to 256GB, with each slot supporting up to 64GB of memory. Integrated Intel XMP profile support simplifies setting optimal parameters directly in the BIOS. The DIMM memory slots are unbuffered and do not support ECC.
PCIe interface
Graphics cards can be installed in a single PCI Express 5.0 ×16 slot, which is mechanically reinforced to prevent heavy cards from being pulled out. Two PCI Express 4.0 ×4 slots are available for additional expansion cards. The fast fifth-generation bus transfers data with high throughput for modern graphics accelerators. The system therefore offers plenty of room for future graphics subsystem upgrades.
Storage and drives
The board has four M.2 slots for fast SSDs and four SATA III connectors with RAID support. The first M.2 slot supports the PCIe 5.0 ×4 interface, while the remaining three slots operate on the PCIe 4.0 ×4 interface. The integrated RAID controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 arrays for both SATA and NVMe drives. Passive M.2 Thermal Guard heatsinks effectively prevent drives from slowing down due to overheating.
Connectors
The rear panel features one USB 4.0 Type-C port with DisplayPort 2.1 support and speeds of up to 40Gb/s. There are also two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and four USB 2.0 ports. The high-speed USB 4.0 interface allows for fast transfers of large files and connecting high-resolution monitors. For network connectivity, there is an RJ-45 connector linked to an integrated Realtek network card with a speed of 2.5Gb/s.
Installation
The EZ-Latch system makes installing components easier by removing the need for a screwdriver for the M.2 and PCIe slots. The rear panel includes a practical Q-Flash Plus button for easy BIOS updates without a processor installed. A quick CMOS clear button simplifies restoring default settings when experimenting with system parameters. The board also includes connectors for RGB lighting and water cooling.
