Gitzo Traveler GT1542T

A high-quality tripod is an essential accessory for any professional and often amateur photographer as well. The Gitzo GT1542T tripod can satisfy even the most demanding users. It's a compact, very lightweight tripod whose unique 180° folding system makes it an excellent travel companion. The tripod's legs are made of 6X Carbon fibre to maximize firmness with minimum weight. It's perfect for use with cameras that have lenses with focal length of 135mm. The Ground Set Level allows you to take photos close to the ground without the centre column. A quick-release reversible centre column is included. The legs are positionable in 3 angles and the tripod has special G-lock locks as well.

Unique carbon structure

Carbon fibre tubes produced with Carbon 6X technology are the most advanced on the market. This technology provides great structural strength, resistance to bending and an excellent ability to absorb vibrations. One pipe with the diameter of 28mm is made of up to 1,500,000 carbon fibres the size of 7µm each.

G-lock and ALR

The tripod has unique G-Lock Ultra locks. This mechanism has been completely redesigned and is now 20% harder and makes operation faster. It is designed to minimize the permeation of dust and gravel to the locks. The Gravity Lock works with the weight that pulls on the tripod legs vertically. The greater the load, the stronger the lock.

The Anti-Rotation Leg system keeps the legs from rotating, thus making it easy to open and close the tripod. It works on the principle of locking rings that make it possible for you to open this 5-section tripod in under 15s.

Top casting locking lever

The top casting locking lever of the Systematic tripods allows you to add any centre column, flat disk, half-bowl video head adapter, levelling unit or another accessory. The opening and closing of the top casting locking lever for the replacement of components is done with a bolt with a ratchet.
