Gitzo Systematic GT2542S

This quality tripod is an essential accessory for any professional or amateur photographer. The Gitzo GT2542S will satisfy even the most demanding users who need to travel light and still have with a top-quality tripod with them. The tripod legs are made of Carbon fibre 6X to maximize rigidity with minimum weight. It is perfect for use with cameras lenses with a focal length of 200mm, up to a maximum of 300mm. Parts of the tripod also include ergonomic stops, rubber ends, G-lock spikes with rubber covers and ends for the snow. The ALR unique system means that you can unfold the tripod in less than 15 seconds. The tripod is supplied without a tripod head.

Unique Carbon Structure

The carbon fibre tubes manufactured using Carbon 6X technology are the most advanced on the market. This technology provides high structural strength and resistance to bending and absorbs vibration. Each pipe with a diameter of 28mm has 1,500,000 carbon fibres with a size of 7 microns.

G-lock and ALR

The tripod is equipped with a unique G-Lock. This mechanism has been completely redesigned and now reaches up to 20% higher stiffness, and speeds up handling. The Gravity Lock works with weights, which weigh vertically on the tripod legs. The greater the load, the stronger the lock.

The Anti-Leg-rotation system is useful against turning legs, as well as facilitating the folding and unfolding of the tripod. It works on the principle of locking sleeves which enables you to set up the tripod in less than 15 seconds.

Top Casting Locking Lever

The Systematic tripod´s top plate allows you to add a quick-release ratchet centre bar, a flat disc, an adapter for the video heads with a round half base, levelling unit or other accessories. For the opening and closing of the top plate for the replacement of components, a toggle bolt with a ratchet can be used.
