Gitzo GT3542LS Systematic

Now Gitzo is a global leader in its field and produces high-quality and elaborate tripods, among them the Gitzo GT3542LS from the top series, Systematic. It is designed for professional photographers who use long lenses and heavy equipment. It is suitable for lenses with focal length of 400mm and comes without a tripod head.

Unique carbon structure

Carbon fibre tubes produced with Carbon 6X technology are the most advanced on the market. This technology provides great structural strength, resistance to bending and an excellent ability to absorb vibrations. One pipe with the diameter of 28mm is made of up to 1,500,000 carbon fibres the size of 7µm each.

Robust yet compact

Despite the fact that fully unfolded the tripod is almost as tall as a person, it is quite compact. Its legs have ergonomic locks for positioning with rubber tips. Spikes for stability in snow are included. It can bear as much as 25kg so it's fine with the largest cameras. Instead of a centre column, it has a centre disc, which can be switched for a column if you prefer it.

G-Lock Ultra locks

The tripod has unique G-Lock Ultra locks. This mechanism has been completely redesigned and is now 20% harder and makes operation faster. It is designed to minimize the permeation of dust and gravel to the locks. The Gravity Lock works with the weight that pulls on the tripod legs vertically. The greater the load, the stronger the lock.
