The Gitzo Traveller GK2545T-82QD has been designed for professional photographers who enjoy travelling. It consists of a carbon Gitzo GT2545T Traveller tripod and a Traveller GH1382QD central ball head.

The traveller series is lightweight, extremely compact and everything in this collection has been produced to the highest standards. This tripod is suitable for lenses with a focal length of 200mm (a maximum of 300mm).

Universal Head

Unique Carbon Structure

The legs, which are made from carbon fibre and using Carbon eXact technology, are the most advanced on the market. This technology provides high structural integrity and resistance to bending. It also absorbs vibrations perfectly. Up to 1,500,000 carbon fibres (with a size of of 7µm) have been applied on each leg. Each leg has a 28mm diameter.

Extremely Compact

To fold away the Gitzo Traveller GT2545T for travel or storage, simply turn the legs by 180 degrees. You will be able to store the central rod and the head between the folded legs, which will significantly reduce its length when folded. Because of this system, it is a perfectly compact and easily portable tripod. The legs are fitted with rubber ends, which could be replaced with spikes in snow or loose terrain. The short centre post makes this tripod suitable for work close to the ground. The tripod also features a shoulder strap for added comfort and convenience.

G-Locks

The tripod is equipped with a unique G-Lock system. This mechanism has been completely redesigned to offer up to 20% higher stiffness. It also makes the tripod much faster and more convenient to set up. The Gravity Lock feature works with weights, which operate vertically on the tripod legs. The greater the load, the stronger the lock.
