In 2016, GP Batteries introduced a new generation of ReCyko+ and ReCyko+ Pro rechargeable batteries. These batteries use state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and build on the successful and award-winning prior series of rechargeable batteries. Compared to their predecessors, they offer much better features such as the new EnergyLock technology, which has low self-discharge rates common with non-rechargeable batteries. The battery retains enough energy for immediate use even after several years of storage.

The battery pack has up to 1500 recharge cycles. These batteries are also able to function for up to several years without interruptions.

ReCyko+ rechargeable battery

The ReCyko+ battery line offers a wide range of capacities and durability, enabling each user to obtain the optimum ratio between performance and operating cost.

The AA 2500 battery boasts one of the highest capacities available on the market.

As a true representative of the GP ReCyko+ series, these rechargeable batteries are pre-charged and can be used immediately after unpacking or after storage.

Key Product Features

These rechargeable NiCd batteries are ready for use. They are pre-charged during production and have an increased ability to maintain their energy during storage in the retail chain.

New EnergyLock technology equips these batteries with a minimal self-discharge rate, which is common with non-rechargeable batteries. When charged, your batteries will remain charged for several years, even if you are not using them.

With a minimal self-discharge effect called Low-Self-Discharge (LSD), the battery retains up to 80% of its energy when stored at room temperature. You can charge the battery again to fully recharge the battery.

Each rechargeable battery is factory limited by an approximate number of charge cycles. When this number of cycles is reached, the battery capacity, or the battery's ability to conserve as much energy as possible, drops significantly.
