In 2016, GP Batteries introduced a new generation of ReCyko+ and ReCyko+ Pro rechargeable batteries. The manufacturer uses only the newest technologies and also builds on successful and many award-winning series of rechargeable batteries of previous generations. Compared to their predecessors, the batteries offer much better features, for example, the new EnergyLock technology, which has low self-discharge rates that are typical for non-rechargeable batteries. As a result, the battery retains enough energy for immediate use even after several years of storage.

A great improvement has been achieved when it comes to the number of recharges the batteries can endure, namely up to 1500 recharges. These batteries are thus able to work for up to several years even when used by professionals.

ReCyko+ Pro Professional Rechargeable Batteries

GP ReCyko+ Pro Professional rechargeable batteries are the second generation and also the successor of GP ReCyko+ batteries, which have won the recharge battery test in the dTest magazine and have received many other technical awards.

As with the previous generation, the emphasis was on the high number of recharges and a minimal self-discharge effect.

You can recharge your GP ReCyko+ Pro Professional batteries more than 1500 times. If they are not used they can remain charged for a long time.

These batteries are pre-charged and are ready for use right after purchase, so there is no need to recharge them before the first use. You can just open the package, take out the battery and insert it into your device.

These rechargeable NiMH GP batteries are ready for use. This is due to the fact that they are pre-charged and have the ability to retain their energy when stored in the retail chain.

EnergyLock

The new EnergyLock technology guarantees minimal self-discharge, which is typical for non-rechargeable batteries. When charged, your batteries will remain charged for several years, even if you are not using them.

With the minimal self-discharge effect known as LSD (Low-Self-Discharge), the battery will retain up to 70% of its energy at room temperature even after 5 years of storage. After recharging the battery, you will get its full capacity again.

Each rechargeable battery is limited by an approximate number of recharges. When this number of recharges is reached, the battery capacity, or the battery's ability to retain as much energy as possible, drops significantly.
