The Hit-Air MLV 2 Vest Easily Adapts to Any Body Shape
The protective features of the Hit-Air MLV 2 vest may seem cumbersome, but in practice they do not restrict movement in any way. Adjustable internal straps allow you to customise the size to your body shape. The vest is made of 600D polyester, nylon straps and polyester mesh, complemented by reflective elements made of Lumidex. Polyurethane was used for the airbag, and the part behind the activation mechanism is supplemented with viscoelastic elastane.
Easy Installation and Use of the MLV 2 Airbag Vest
The motorcycle airbag vest works on a mechanical principle. A carbon-Kevlar cable connects it to the motorcycle frame under the seat or other suitable location. Activation is similar to a seatbelt—it only triggers in an actual fall. The deployment is calibrated to a force corresponding to a fall (usually from 30 km/h and above). After activation, the vest deflates by itself within two minutes. It can then be prepared for use again: deflate any excess air, activate the mechanism with an Allen key and insert a new CO₂ cartridge.
